this show is where it all started for me. it's weird seeing it now and remembering that I had loved it so much back then and can still perceive and adapt and admire something that has obviously translated over time (and built that strong, quirky, creepy yet so so cool, angsty character driven foundation we see in movies and shows now). angela chase's obsession with jordan catalano was and still is so relatable .. and jared leto still oozes sex like that awesome, alien, acidic, neon green goo blood in that movie alien with sigourney weaver -- so deadly, but so captivating and otherworldy. weird analogy. anyway, my so called life proves how and why shows can live on past the obvious nostalgic elements of our youth and still be, very much, appreciated.

the most wonderful time of the year .

these got me into the holiday spirit. wishing for another ugly christmas sweater party right about now. and who doesn't love soul searching christmasy music, art & and little bit of craft. martha stewart and me, that's who. her website is bursting with ideas, recipes and crafting ideas that make me actually want to spend the day decorating and crafting for this most joyous of all occasions. if only i had a hogwartian sized mansion.. i'd have a yule ball. hear, hear.

Supermodels strutted down the streetwalks of Paris (Fashion Week 2010) and made me want to invest in a blue chain link pocketbook, a long velveteen blazer, a happy-colored flowy maxi skirt, a soft warm cardi-trench, cigarette pants, high-waist trousers, nude lipstick and plain long-sleeve shirts.
